The Rallyball I class is designed to introduce young children to tennis as a team sport. Come out and play tennis with your peers and friends while learning basic fundamental tennis skills. This program is designed to be beginner friendly. Using the Quick Start Format ? age & skill appropriate racquets, balls & court, and a games-based approach to learning, players will be able to rally in minutes and learn the fundamentals of the game in a team-oriented environment. The format includes practice and match time. Participants must provide their own racquet and wear proper tennis shoes (no black soled shoes, please!) (This class is #3 on the TDA Junior Development Pathway.)
Todd Dissly Athletics (TDA) was honored by Racquet Sports Industry (RSI) as the 2013 Champion of Tennis. In 2012 TDA was awarded the USPTA Service to Tennis Award. Additionally, based on their extensive work and success with junior tennis players, the USTA selected TDA to run one of the first ever Early Development Centers in the country (2011). Director Caryn Cranston led the 12 and Under tennis teams to the championships in the Orange & Green levels in 2014. Todd Dissly has led the Los Gatos Wildcats to over 25 titles in the last 14 years.
